Management & Trustee Roles

Trustees & those on the Management Committee play an essential part in the running of Thatcham Youth. Ensuring the club runs to the standards of the charity comission, is operating to a safe financial level and look at current and potentially new projects.

To be a trustee you will be enthusiastic about either youth work or helping your community, you will be driven and be able to bring something to help the charity. People from all walks of life can help as a trustee, those with youth work backgrounds, social media backgrounds, event planning, financial and more! Being a trustee can be very rewarding as you help to deliver youth services to Thatcham and see the success and results.

We are specifically looking for people with skills in the following areas:

  • Health & Safety
  • Safeguarding
  • Social Media
  • Human Resources
  • Fundraising & Event Planning

You would be required to attend up to six meetings per year with a commitment to help out at some of our youth activities as often as you can. We will offer support & relevant training and shadowing in becoming a trustee and you will be given guidance throughout.
